Managing Editor
Richard Just is managing editor of The New Republic. He was previously the magazine’s deputy editor and editor of The New Republic Online. Before joining TNR, Richard was editor of The American Prospect Online and a writing fellow at The American Prospect. His work has appeared in The Washington Post, Slate, and The Washington Monthly. He is also a founder and director of the Princeton University Summer Journalism Program, which annually brings 20 high school students from low-income backgrounds to Princeton’s campus for a ten-day seminar on journalism. He graduated in 2001 from Princeton, where he was editor-in-chief of The Daily Princetonian.
