There is nothing intellectually sharp in Louis Farrakhan's apologia for Major Doctor Hasan. In fact, he follows mostly in the footsteps of the psychobabblers. I just thought you'd want to know what the ayatollah of black Muslims in America thinks about this group lynching.

He does manage to reduce him in rank, though, during the interview. Which, given that "Major Hasan" was all over the media, is a pretty surprising booboo on Louis's part.

You have to give props to that caller. Farrakhan's response re. Khaddafi is the bigger disgrace in this Q&A.

True. I didn't look at the clip but the transcript suggests he was flummoxed by the question.

"Louis Farrakhan: "I’m saying to you, sir, that we are not pillaging the wealth of Tripoli or Libya. Libya is not offering us money. Farrakhan formally applied last week to the department's Office of Foreign Assets Control, seeking its approval for him to accept donations from Libya, one of several countries under sanctions limiting travel and business transactions by U.S. citizens.
The donation from Libya could be the first of several offered to Farrakhan from nations "friendly and not-so-friendly" to the United States, said the Rev. Benjamin F. Chavis Jr., an ally of the Nation of Islam leader."

BTW, isn't Nation of Islam's brand of Islam considered heretical in Islam?
"More deserving to be called the Nation of Kufr, this cult has used black nationalism as its momentum in finding recruits. with elements of Muslim and Christian beliefs "

I wonder there is no fatwa on Farrakhan's head. After all, every Ahmadi and Bahai are ferociously persecuted as heretics.
Maybe the rabid antisemitism in Farrakhan cleanses him of his heretical status.

but only the hypocrite is really rotten to the core." Hannah Arendt
