This isn’t good. The New York Daily News reports that the cops were called on Hoffman supporters “yelling anti-choice stuff at voters” in St. Lawrence county. A spokesperson for the pro-life Susan B. Anthony List is saying that police were called on a few of the 200 volunteers the group is providing for him today. The state’s former Democratic Chairwoman June O’Neill isn’t having it. “This is not the way we roll in the North Country,” she told the paper.

The updated article places this in context. The author followed up, "I called over to the St. Lawrence Board of Elections and got GOP Elections Commissioner Debbie Pahler on the line. She confirmed that the police indeed had been called, but she downplayed the incident, saying it's "a routine procedure here in the county."
"We had electioneering within the 100-foot polling marker," Phaler said. "It's my understanding that they were asked to leave and wouldn't leave."

But I did have my mailbox smashed on Halloween. Sunday morning there's a knock on the door, 1 dad and six hooligans. They'd already un-dented it and put it back on the pole. Really!
Oh, he said there were seven but he chambered a round in a .357 and began interrogating. One kid held out...but not for long.
