2012: Life Imitates Art?

Forget director Roland Emmerich and his eye for the Apocalypse. Sarah Palin, in an interview with Newsmax, toys with the idea of Glenn Beck as a presidential running mate:

"I can envision a couple of different combinations, if ever I were to be in a position to really even seriously consider running for anything in the future, and I'm not there yet," Palin tells Newsmax. "But Glenn Beck I have great respect for. He's a hoot. He gets his message across in such a clever way. And he's so bold – I have to respect that. He calls it like he sees it, and he's very, very, very effective."

Words fail.

So the qualities Palin is looking for in a VP -- or even just someone to "respect" -- are clever message delivery, boldness, speaking one's mind, and being "very, very, very" effective? This can mean only one thing:

Palin-Hitler 2012.

Unfortunately for Mama Bear, Hitler is no longer available for the VP slot (unless you credit those occasional reports in Weekly World News which claimed that he was living out his days with Eva in Brazil). But I heard some of those Rwandan shock-jocks who are hanging out in the forests of Eastern Congo are interested. What they did to the Tutsis back in 94 was "very, very, very" effective, or so I heard.

Canada beware if this scenario comes to pass. A new kind of immigration problem!
